Let’s Carpool
We promote sustainable transport choices by co-ordinating annual regional events such as World Car-free Day, as well as Walk to Work and Bike to Work days, and the Feet First Walk to School Every Week programme. Our team works at Greater Wellington Regional Council, in the Transport Policy and Strategy Division.

The Car Pool
Our mandate is:
* To actively promote the development of Car Pooling & Rideshare programs;
* To promote the responsible use of automobiles by individuals; and
* To raise public awareness of the environmental and economic benefits of CarPooling.
